Nurse The doctor just finished with her. She should be released... Oh wait, there she is.
Edmund Thanks for your help.
Liz Edmund... <She hugs him.> You came to see.
Edmund It looks like if I was any later I would have missed you. <He looks at the bandage on her forehead.> You are OK then?
Liz Who cares... The doc isn't making me stay in this place... Lets get some food. I am famished. They only gave me jello.

Liz: Well, that was an interesting mission. i was so happy that i got to actually show my skills.
Edmund: you sure do live on the dangerous side, you haven't changed a bit since i first saw you.
Liz: I hope that i will be able to remember everything soon. i hate not knowing who i am and where i came from.
Edmund: don't worry, the memories will come to you in time; for now you need to worry about what you're going to accomplish here.
Liz: hopefully i won't have to spend many more nights in the hospital. i swear if i have to eat one more cup of jello, i'm going to hurl.
Edmund: *laughs* oooh... you've always had the habit of making a joke of every situation, no matter how grim it is.
Liz: well, someone has to be optimistic; even if they don't believe what they're saying.
Edmund: *holds up his wine glass* to the overly optimistic...

Nav Captain Flagg. The Nargis just made a course change.
Flagg Make changes to the calculation and follow them. We can't afford to loose them now.
Nav Course calculated and entered.
Flagg Keep following then.

Tactical mam, I can't put my finger on it... But something is not right.
McAdam Could you be more vague?
Tactical I have been getting a hit on the radar. But it just outside of our range.
McAdam Someone following us?
Tactical Not sure, radar is not as good behind us as other directions. But if they are outside our range they couldn't follow us, they would loose our trail.
McAdam Well I remember the Russians used to do a maneuver back in the last cold war called the crazy Ivan. they could bring to bear their main detection equipment by turning around. Navigation. Calculate a quick turn around. Tactical, stand by for scans.

Tactical Almost... OK we are good to go.

Tactical Captain Flagg... They drooped a sensor boy.
Flagg Dam, there captain is smarter than I remember... Options?
Tactical If we move under power, they will know we where following them.
Flagg So they have us over a barrel... What if we use the solar sail we have on board?
Tactical Since it uses the suns radiation, we could move undetected. Would take a while to implement.
Flagg Any other ideas that will be faster? <Pauses.> OK, lets get it implemented then.
Mel We can pick up the radio signal later. It will just take a while for it to reach one of our sensors.
Flagg I guess that is as good as it gets then. We move to Mars and wait. let me know when we can get under way.

Liz: how could he.... i don't give a damn if he wasn't supposed to tell me. *tears fill her eyes* was all that talk for nothing. "I've never loved someone as much as you" my ass. why did i let myself be fooled by him. was all he said to me a lie. what if those memories that i have of him are all fake. "no risk is too much" well, i hope he found what he was looking for because its more than he'll ever get anything from me again.... *she picks up the necklace that Edmund gave her* what was the meaning of all the time we spent together? *she puts the necklace on her desk, picks up a hammer that is laying on her dresser, and raises it, as if to break the necklace...*

Edmund OK, there was another woman back on earth. <Liz edges back to the hammer and strokes it lovingly.> We where in the SSP together, she was my undercover partner. Things just kind of happened. I thought you where dead! Anyway, I had to give my final report to her and when we met she just kissed me.
Liz And the captain let you romp off to see your little trollop? Who are you? Are you really a shadow? or a spy. I don't think I can take this right now!
Edmund The captain knows what I was doing. She OKed the mission.
Liz Oh.
Edmund I broke it off with her. Now that I have found you I can't loose you again. I could only love you. The other girl was only a distraction in my dispare...

Opps We have the solar sail rigged and are making best speed for mars. Should be a 2 or 3 days. But we could start up the regular propulsion tomorrow. We will be out of range of the sensor boy.
Flagg Good. You have the bridge. I'm going to get some grub.
